This morning, Dr Peter Fenech and Dr Sarah Galea were presented with their certificates at the Insolvency Practitioners Accreditation Course graduation, held by the Malta Business Registry (MBR) and the Insolvency & Receivership Service (IRS).
The course was organised under the Insolvency Practitioners Act (Cap. 632) by Dr Ingrid Hamilton, Head of the IRS, in collaboration with Dr Tiziana Filletti, Head of the Department of Commercial Law at the University of Malta.
This is a key step toward formal authorisation as an Insolvency Practitioner in Malta; a profession still in the early, developing stages of regulation in this jurisdiction.
We’re proud of the work that went into this, and we’re looking ahead: to supporting local businesses and entrepreneurs facing financial difficulty, and helping steer them toward a more sustainable path forward.
