Luigi joined IURIS as a legal trainee in 2016 where he assisted Dr. Peter Fenech in the Sport Law department. He graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2019 and with a Master of Advocacy in 2020. During his years studying at the University of Malta he formed part of the executive branch of the largest student organization for 4 consecutive years, and coordinated various sporting initiatives. In the second half of 2022, he also graduated from ISDE Madrid, where he had been reading for a Masters in International Sports Law and Management since 2021, considered the reference in the sector, and ranked by El Mundo as the number one in the world. This after spending some time in Belgium, where he formed part of Club Brugge’s legal department. Today he heavily focuses on sports law, having already brokered and given advice on numerous contracts and commercial ventures in the football industry locally and overseas as a result of his global network.
