Senior consultant

Hugh is currently senior consultant at IURIS, following a 2013 merger between Iuris Malta Advocates, as it was then known, and his private practice Hugh Peralta & Associates, which he set up in 1984. Throughout his long career, Hugh distinguished himself as a prominent business and commercial lawyer, with a varied and important clientele. He previously served as secretary general of the Malta Hotels and Restaurants Association and sat on law reform committees. He has been awarded both the Onorificenza di Ufficiale by the Italian Government as well as the cross of the Order of Merit of the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany in recognition for services rendered.

  • 1997 awarded the cross of the Order of Merit of the Federal Republic of Germany by the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany in recognition for services rendered
