Employment contracts & contracts of service

Termination of employment/unfair dismissal claims
Under Maltese law, premature termination of one’s employment can only come about for a good and sufficient cause or for reasons of redundancy. We have assisted various clients in claims of unjustified dismissal / termination of employment and redundancy, both out of court and before the Industrial Tribunal. We have concluded out of court settlements by successfully negotiating compensation or reinstatement.
Transfer of business
