The Individual Investor Programme (IIP)
This programme seeks to attract wealthy investors to contribute to Malta’s economy and infrastructure and provides applicants with the opportunity to attain a certificate of naturalisation as a citizen of Malta. Our team at IURIS may assist you throughout the process related to the attainment of the IIP.
Malta Residence and Visa Programme (MRVP)
The MRVP Regulations enable applicants and their dependants to obtain a certificate which allows them to reside, settle and stay indefinitely in Malta and to travel freely within the Schengen area without the need to obtain a visa. Both applicants as well as their dependants may benefit from the MRVP subject to a number of conditions. Once issued, a certificate is equivalent to a residence permit and subject to annual monitoring for the first five years and every five years thereafter.
The IURIS team of lawyers assists both employers as well as prospective employees with the procedure required to obtain a single-work permit which grants third country nationals the authorisation to reside and take up lawful employment in Malta.
IURIS offers services relating to applications for dual/multiple citizenship and freedom of movement. We also assist our clients in obtaining the required certificates and documentation.
Our team of lawyers at IURIS provides advice on all aspects of relocation, including the purchase and lease of immovable property in Malta, tax planning and overall compliance with local and EU legislation.
