Romina is a partner at IURIS, having joined the team in 2014. Her work focuses primarily on equality and human rights legislation, EU law as well as employment and public procurement. Romina previously served as executive director of the National Commission for the Promotion of Equality and is also a former member of the Council of Europe Committee for Equality between Women and Men, the High Level Group on Gender Mainstreaming, the Advisory Committee on Equal Opportunities for Women and Men and the Management Board of the European Institute for Gender Equality. She is a visiting lecturer at the University of Malta and Malta’s representative on the European Network of Legal Experts in Gender Equality.
