RITA MIFSUD

Partner

Rita is a senior partner at IURIS and forms part of the civil and commercial law departments together with founding partners Simon Galea Testaferrata and Peter Fenech. Her practice involves both the provision of advice and assistance to clients as well as their representation in court and before various courts and tribunals. Being particularly well versed in family law, Rita holds a Diploma in Canonical Marriage Cases, Jurisprudence and Procedure. She and Dr. Peter Fenech were legal advisors to the National Child Welfare Agency in Malta between 2008 and 2016 and have thus acquired specific expertise in several areas of family law including adoptions and fostering, child abductions, cross-border custody disputes and issues of child protection. She has been a member of the Nadur local council since 2008 and previously also served as a member of the board of directors of Gozo Channel Company Limited.
